Star Home Builders provides each buyer with a one-year “builders” warranty and an optional RWC 2/10 warranty.

ONE-YEAR "BUILDERS" WARRANTY

For the first year after closing, SHB will make repairs, outside of normal home maintenance, following the guidelines of the Homeowner’s Handbook given to each buyer prior to the Orientation. SHB prides itself on having happy homeowners and strives to address all warranty requests quickly and professionally.

2/10 WARRANTY

Residential Warranty Corporation, or RWC for short, is a 2/10 warranty-meaning two years of mechanical systems coverage and ten years of structural coverage. Documentation about this warranty is provided at closing.
